The AZ-800 exam is part of the Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification. As a candidate for this exam, you’ll be responsible for configuring and managing Windows Server workloads across on-premises, hybrid, and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platforms. Your tasks will include integrating Windows Server environments with Azure services and managing Windows Server in on-premises networks. Specifically, you’ll deploy, package, secure, update, and configure Windows Server workloads using a combination of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies. You’ll also collaborate with Azure administrators, enterprise architects, Microsoft 365 administrators, and network engineers. The exam covers various areas, including:

Deploy and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in both on-premises and cloud environments (30–35%).
Manage Windows Servers and workloads in a hybrid environment (10–15%).
Manage virtual machines and containers (15–20%).
Implement and manage an on-premises and hybrid networking infrastructure (15–20%).
Manage storage and file services (15–20%)
